Back up service.

Do you get back up service from the big stores? From what I've seen the answer is NO.
“We’ll send it away and give you a call next week”.

I can't compete on price alone with their cheapest model computers, but I can put together a computer specifically for your needs. You won't be paying for bits and pieces you won't use - and what you do spend will go into better quality parts that WILL make a difference.

I'm always researching and comparing components simply because I enjoy doing it - so take advantage!
Is a custom built computer really better than an off the shelf name brand? DEFINITELY. Name brands are full of unnecessary software that slows the whole system down, plus they're not easy to upgrade. They're designed as throw away computers - and can you blame them? They want to sell you another new one in a few years time.

As for back up service, I'm not going anywhere. I’m usually close by so just give me a call if you have a question or need some help.

Salespeople in the big stores are not interested in what would be best for you - only in shifting stock. Have you noticed how the model you're looking at is always the one the salesperson has in their own home? That always amuses me!
